Rick and Morty Season 4 Premiere Smashes the Reset Button

The last half-decade has seen a renaissance of sorts in animated, adult-oriented TV comedies. New series like Rick and Morty, Big Mouth, Tuca and Bertie, and he was even repentant. In the season three finale, The Rickchurian Mortydate, the Smith family (Ricks daughter Beth, her husband Jerry, and their kids Summer and Morty) reunited, promising a fresh start for each other and the show. (In many ways, things will be like season one but more streamlined, Beth says brightly in the episodes final scene.) The season four premiere, Edge of Tomorty: Rick, Die, Rickpeat, arrives more than two years later but stays true to Beths word. In ways both refreshing and disappointing, it is indeed a throwback to a simpler …

Photoshop Fail Of The Week: When You Should Fire Your Retoucher | Betches

Guys, sometimes I have a hard time finding good Photoshop fails. Like, everyone uses Photoshop or Facetune, and sucks at it, but it’s not fun unless there is some egregious error that we can all laugh at together. But every now and then, the universe pities me and just hands me the perfect image on a silver platter. And with that, I bring you Kimberly Noel Kardashian West. Like, the Kardashians honestly own these articles. They are by far the worst Facetuners and body modifiers we’ve ever seen. But despite their giant asses, tiny waists, giant eyes, airbrushed skin, warping vortexes, melting walls, crooked floors, even they can hit a new low. And that came this week in the form …

This Tyke Helping Up a Player on the Other Team is the Sweetest Thing

Now these are the moments that melt your heart as a parent! From the Dad, Mike Zegil: My youngest daughter, Amara (age 4), is the smallest player on the Gore Bay Tyke hockey team. She is quick to tell you that she is #12 and actually plays in games, not just practices. Depending on the arena she is playing in, she can not watch the game because she can’t see over the boards. She sometimes has to be lifted onto the ice. But you can hear her cheer from anywhere in any arena. We thought that Amara was the smallest in the league until we met Arabella (age 3) from Manitowaning, who also happens to be #12. My daughter was …

You Glow Differently When You Let The Pain Go

Rania Naim Updated November 6, 2019 By Daria Shevtsova You glow differently when you let the pain go. The pain of the past. The pain of your childhood. The pain of your breakup. The pain of your failures. You glow differently when you don’t let pain define you. When you take the lessons it taught you and turn them into wisdom, into art or into stepping stones on your way to resilience. You glow differently every time people expect you to break but you don’t crack. You’ve survived storms before. You’ve overcome tragedies and painful experiences before. You can do this. You glow differently when you allow yourself to feel the pain without letting it permeate your life. When you …

Woman Uses Photo Of Her Dog To Show How Rape Is Not The Womans Fault

Dog pics go viral all the time – people simply love all things canine. This one, however, was as poignant as it was adorable. Tennessee pastry chef Bree Wiseman uploaded a pic of her dog sitting obediently next to his favorite food and used it to make a powerful statement about victim-blaming, something that is sadly still rife in modern society. “To the people that say women get raped due to the way they are dressed,” she wrote, “This is my dog.” “His favorite food is steak. He is eye level with my plate. He won’t get any closer because I told him no. If a dog is better behaved than you are, you need to reevaluate your life. Feel …

Trump’s staff reportedly discussed asking Twitter to put a delay on his tweets

White House staffers once discussed asking Twitter to put a 15-minute delay on President Donald Trumps tweets, the New York Times reports. In an article outlining the commander in chiefs affinity for the social media site, a source claimed that the proposal was made early on in Trumps presidency. The staffers hoped the delay would give them time to vet the presidents tweets before they reached the masses. In order to implement such a plan, the staffers would have to contact Twitter and convince the company to cooperate. The proposal was quickly scrapped after Trumps team recognized the major potential for political fallout if the delay was picked up by the press or, even worse, the president himself. But discussions …

Take a virtual tour through Rocket Labs New Zealand rocket launch facility

Rocket Lab is one of the extremely small group of rocket launch startups that is actually sending payloads to space, and the company sends all of its spacecraft up from a scenic peninsula located on the east coast of New Zealand. Why? It’s ideally placed for high-frequency launch windows, which should help Rocket Lab send up even more payloads using its Electron spacecraft as it scales. And the side benefits are incredibly stunning views and vistas. This tour of LC-1 includes a look at where Rocket Lab does final assembly for the spacecraft that it launches, which puts together parts made everywhere from Auckland to Huntington Beach, Calif. UK Government Bans Fracking Over Earthquake Fears

The government said Saturday the decision was based on a finding by the Oil and Gas Authority that it is not possible to clearly predict the likelihood or severity of earthquakes linked to fracking operations. Business and Energy Secretary Andrea Leadsom said the new report makes it clear that the government cannot rule out future “unacceptable impacts” on local communities where fracking is allowed. The government’s new position was announced at the start of what is expected to be a hard-fought campaign ahead of a Dec. 12 national election. There have been considerable protests against fracking in recent years. Activist Maureen Mills from the Halsall Against Fracking group, said fracking had taken an “immeasurable” toll on her region of northwestern …
